What is a Certificate of Employment?
In accordance with Article 28 of the Labor Law;
Upon termination of employment, the employer shall provide the employee with a certificate indicating the nature and duration of their work.
An employee who suffers damages due to the failure to provide the certificate in a timely manner or due to incorrect information contained therein, or a new employer who hires the employee, may claim compensation from the former employer.
These documents are exempt from all taxes and duties.
