Obligation to Cover the Care and Education Expenses of Children

In accordance with Article 327 of the Turkish Civil Code; the expenses necessary for the care, education, and protection of the child shall be covered by the mother and father. In the event that the mother and father are destitute, or the child's special circumstances require extraordinary expenses, or if there is any unusual reason, they may, with the judge's permission, spend a certain amount from the child's assets sufficient for their care and education.
