What is the Night Work Ban?
In accordance with Article 73 of the Labor Law;
It is prohibited to employ CHILDREN AND YOUNG WORKERS under the age of eighteen in night shifts in industrial jobs.
The procedures and principles regarding the employment of female workers over the age of eighteen in night shifts shall be specified in a regulation to be prepared by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, upon obtaining the opinion of the Ministry of Health.
