What is Temporary Incapacity for Work?
In accordance with Article 48 of the Labor Law;
In cases where temporary incapacity allowance must be paid to employees, national holidays, general holidays, and weekly rest days falling within the period of temporary incapacity shall be paid by the institutions or funds making the payment based on the temporary incapacity rate.
The temporary incapacity ALLOWANCE paid by the Social Security Institution for days not worked due to illness shall be DEDUCTED from the wages of MONTHLY SALARIED EMPLOYEES.
