What is Acquisition by Prescription?

In accordance with Article 712 of the Turkish Civil Code, if a person is registered as the owner in the land registry without a valid legal basis, their ownership acquired through this method cannot be contested if they maintain possession of the immovable property uncontested and uninterrupted for a period of 10 YEARS in good faith.
