Name Protection Lawsuit

In accordance with Article 26 of the Turkish Civil Code, a person whose name is in dispute may file a lawsuit for the determination of their right. A person whose name is used unlawfully may demand an end to such use, and if the party using it unlawfully is at fault, they may also request compensation for pecuniary damage and, if the nature of the injustice so requires, payment of non-pecuniary damages.
