What is an emblem?

Pursuant to Article 2 of the Law on Industrial Property;
EMBLEM is the name given to the sign created by the Institution, which indicates that geographical indications and traditional product names have been registered in accordance with the provisions of this Law, and which is used on the product or its packaging together with the name under which it is registered, or, if it cannot be used on the product itself or its packaging due to its nature, is applied by the authorized users in a clearly visible manner, and the use of which is mandatory in terms of geographical indications.
