WHAT HAPPENS IF THE MEDIATION MEETING IS NOT ATTENDED?
If the mediation process is terminated because one of the parties does not attend the first meeting without a valid excuse, the party who did not attend is specified in the final report, and this party will be held liable for all litigation costs even if they are found to be partially or fully justified in the lawsuit. Furthermore, no attorney's fee shall be awarded in favor of this party. In addition, in lawsuits filed following a mediation process that ended because both parties did not attend the first meeting, the litigation costs incurred by the parties shall remain on them.
