Parental Rights Regarding Children in Divorce

Pursuant to Article 182 of the Turkish Civil Code; while deciding on divorce or separation, the court, having heard the mother and father as far as possible and having taken the opinion of the guardian and the guardianship authority if the child is under guardianship, shall regulate the rights of the parents and their personal relations with the child.
