Minimum Working Age and Prohibition of Child Labor
In accordance with Article 71 of the Labor Law;
The employment of children under the age of fifteen is prohibited.
When placing children and young workers in jobs and determining the work they can perform, their safety, health, physical, mental, and psychological development, as well as their personal aptitude and abilities, shall be taken into account.
The work performed by a child cannot prevent them from attending school or continuing their vocational training, nor can it hinder their regular attendance in classes.
