Public and private sector employers must request the workers they are obliged to employ from the Provincial Directorate of the Turkish Employment Agency within five working days of the obligation arising, specifying their qualifications. In such requests, conditions that make employment difficult and exceed the essential qualifications required by the work performed at the workplace cannot be put forward. In requests for workers with disabilities, unless the nature of the job requires it, no upper limit can be set for the disability rate, and no discrimination can be made between disability groups.
