Liability of the Animal Keeper
In accordance with Article 67 of the TCO (Turkish Code of Obligations);
Liability for Damages
A person who permanently or temporarily undertakes the care and management of an animal is liable to compensate for the damage caused by the animal.
An animal keeper shall not be liable if they prove that they exercised the necessary care to prevent such damage from occurring.
If the animal was startled by another person or an animal belonging to another, the animal keeper reserves the right of recourse against those persons.
