Application and Sources of Law
The law applies to all matters referred to by its wording and its spirit. If there is no foreseeable provision in the law, the judge decides according to customary law, and if that is also absent, then according to the rule they would have established had they been the legislator. When rendering a decision, the judge makes use of scientific opinions and judicial precedents.
