What are the formal requirements of a matrimonial property regime agreement?

In accordance with Article 205 of the Turkish Civil Code; a property regime contract is executed by a notary public in the form of a deed or certification. However; parties may also declare in writing which property regime they have chosen during their marriage application. It is mandatory for the property regime contract to be signed by their legal representatives.
