Inheritance Waiver Agreement

In accordance with Article 528 of the Turkish Civil Code, the testator may enter into an inheritance renunciation agreement with an heir, either gratuitously or for consideration. The renouncing party loses their status as an heir. Unless otherwise provided in the agreement, a renunciation of inheritance for consideration also has consequences for the renouncing party's descendants.
