What Are the Requirements for Single Adoption?
In accordance with Article 307 of the Turkish Civil Code;
An unmarried person who has reached the age of 30 may adopt alone.
A spouse who has reached the age of 30 may adopt alone if they prove that joint adoption is impossible due to the other spouse's permanent lack of mental capacity, the other spouse's whereabouts being unknown for more than 2 years, or the spouses living apart for more than 2 years due to a court order.
