What Are the Grounds for Disqualification from Guardianship?
In accordance with Article 418 of the Turkish Civil Code, the following persons cannot be appointed as guardians;
* Persons under legal disability,
* Those prohibited from public service or living a dishonorable life,
* Those whose interests significantly conflict with the interests of the person to be placed under guardianship, or those with whom there is enmity,
* Judges of the relevant guardianship authorities.
