Job Search Leave

In accordance with Article 27 of the Labor Law;
During the notice period, the employer IS OBLIGATED TO GRANT THE EMPLOYEE JOB SEARCH LEAVE DURING WORKING HOURS WITHOUT ANY DEDUCTION IN WAGES in order to allow the employee to find a new job.
The duration of the job search leave CANNOT BE LESS THAN TWO HOURS PER DAY, and if the employee wishes, they may combine these hours to use them collectively. However, an employee who wishes to use their job search leave collectively must schedule it for the days preceding their departure date and must notify the employer of this situation. If the employer does not grant the job search leave or allows it to be used insufficiently, the wages corresponding to that duration shall be paid to the employee. If the employer makes the employee work during the job search leave, the employer shall pay the WAGES FOR THE TIME WORKED AT A 100 PERCENT INCREASE, in addition to the wages the employee would have received without having to work while on leave.
