Five-Year Statute of Limitations
PURSUANT TO ARTICLE 147 OF THE TCO;
A five-year statute of limitations applies to the following receivables:
1. Rental payments, interest on principal, and other periodic performances such as wages.
2. Accommodation fees in places such as hotels, motels, pensions, and holiday villages, as well as food and beverage expenses in restaurants and similar establishments.
3. Receivables arising from small-scale artisanal work and small-scale retail sales.
4. Receivables arising from a partnership agreement between partners, or between partners and the partnership itself; or between the managers, representatives, or auditors of a partnership and the partnership or the partners.
