What is a Federation?

Pursuant to Article 95 of the Turkish Civil Code, federations are established by the coming together of at least 5 associations with the same purpose of establishment, in the capacity of members, in order to realize their objectives. Each federation has its own bylaws. A federation acquires legal personality upon the submission of the establishment notice, bylaws, and required documents to the highest local administrative authority of the place where its headquarters is located.
